Interesting game guys! I just now saw the updated version of the game... I wish I got it. Oh well... pretty cool game though!

Somehow that's the best and most creative Game I've ever played!
This game was really strange, but really interesting at the same time. I wish I could have recorded more, but I didn't keep track of time that day I recorded. I like the music, the references, and the various locations!
Love this game and it's concept of exploration! ended up making a video about it and another game because of it's uniqueness. Hope you give it a watch and enjoy it :)
Brilliant! I managed to get to the end (despite a very laggy cable car section) and I would certainly play it again. So yeah, a good one. Would love to see it "finished". :)
This game is awesome!
I did a lets-play on this :P (I LOVED IT!)
It's a good idea for a game. however it can include a lot of waiting.
Hi, I really enjoyed your game, but I also noticed some bugs, like falling through the floor of the train, conversations with the child-like creatures tend to trap you in the conversation or freeze the game and other small things with the menu doorway, but overall good concept, I especially liked that you made eccentric beings for the characters, it gives the game, well, character, thank you
Awesome game, you guys could make another game like that, but cutting off the "i have to waste almost 20 minutes to catch a train and i am in the wrong platform" thing :v. But now seriously, awesome game, i kinda know the effort that was taken to make this game, and i think it was worth it. Hope you guys make another cool game like that someday. I give 9/10, just isn't 10/10 because it runs on unity engine that is very laggy for not so good computers. PS. Sorry for my english.
this game has lots of potential! love the mood, the graphics, the storytelling, i've found lots of glitches and i was stucked many times in various places, but, anyway i want to play more!
This game was so fun to play! I really liked the art style/graphics of the game. I made a Youtube gameplay video on it. Here's the link if you wanna check it out! Thanks :)
Lovely little experience, sad to hear that it's not going to make it to a final release, but I hope that the places and ideas make it into some of your other projects- they deserve it.
Good job team, I look forward to your future projects!
Is there anywhere I can get a bit more info on the creatures of the game? They're really intriguing and I wanted to write a review of the game and was just curious if there were any specific influences to these cute monsters of yours. Also, does each type of creature have a name of its own? Thanks in advance!
Would also love to know how you achieved the main menu, it's a really great effect and would love to do something similar in a game I'm working on :)
Beautiful little game, taking notes from Miazaki I take it :) ? I don't think I figure it out, tho, only found the watering pot and explored all 4 areas before I got the black screen crash.
Also, I played it late at night and at first thought it was tied to my real clock thinking "oh neat, so I gotta play it at different times!" Was a little disappointed that wasn't the case. Maybe food for thought?
Do you mind me asking how you did the escape menu? Just render to texture camera on the entrance and teleporting player to actual location? and what about your lighting - just toon shader with a non-gradient black/white ramp texture?
One more tech question if you please - how did you do the movement blocking by ledges? I take it you didn't put invisible walls everywhere? Just a custom controller that moves you on ground unless the slope is greater than some threshold?
Excellent game, heard a lot about it, this is a really unique little experience, hope to see what else you make.
Amazing game and really great art style, but I ran into a bit of a problem. Once I hopped onto the 21:13 train to go to another place, the music faded in as usual once I got there but the screen was black. I couldn't do anything so I closed the game. Gonna try it again to see if it isn't just me
Hi there! I played this game and just explored and had a really good time, but I now want to restart and i can´t find how to do that
You are not alone. I can't restart the game no matter how many times i uninstall and install it. HELP PLEASE!
Hi! I'm a YouTuber who just played this game for a video to be going up tomorrow, but I wanted to take the time NOW to say I loved this game a lot! I hope you and your team come back to this soon...a fuller version would be fun!
EDIT: Video's up!
I just played it for about 2 hours! And I can not say anything else other than it was a very very interesting experience and something I never experienced before.. even though I appearently saw everything, it felt like there are so many mysteries in this game and I have just scratched the edge! I would really want to see a finished project. I am very VERY sad that this game was cancelled because I think it would have been a guaranteed success with this concept! You nailed everything from the atmosphere to the confusement part with the trains.
I have just read your comment, and I feel so happy to hear this. In fact we say "canceled", because if we go back into this game, we need to rebuilt a lot of things. But I think nothing is impossible, and the team still have the fate for making this world alive. Actually, we got plenty more ideas and stuff we didn't put in this version. It was just a matter of time.
Thank you for the support ! Maybe it will give us the power to do another game in the same world, or maybe to continue it.
As I said I think the experience I had with this project was like no other.. You nailed this whole gameplay mechanic of beeing confused but actually trying to connect the puzzle pieces! I would love to see more content from you guys!
Congrats on the game Florian, Alexandre, Martin, Felix and Baptiste! I really enjoyed the whole sense of exploration, having no idea where we were heading from train to train, while meeting some peculiar characters along the way!
I hope you enjoy my silly playthrough of it! Get your train tickets ready and let's embark together on this journey through the rails. Tchu tchu!
Since this was your first try for a commercial game, when is the next game coming up?
PS: I LIKE TRAINS
Loved this game! Went in blind not knowing what I was in for and I had a really good time. Honestly didn't find any problems with the game (apart from a couple of small bits) so good job guys! (Sorry about butchering your names...)
hey man thanks for your LP! Glad you enjoyed playing :D
Heh, found an easter egg!
What a game!!! LOVED the art style reminded me of Spirited Away for some reason :D
hey man thanks for making a video about the game, glad you enjoyed it :D
Can this be considered an indie game?
Whenever I try to launch it, it says that it will harm my pc, and says don't run it with no other options.
hey, I'm not entirely sure how PC's deal with programs from the internet, but it should run like any other Unity game you'd find on itch.io! Apart from trying to run it as admin I have no idea!
no, it works with unity games, I develop with unity also. Just yours. I WANT TO PLAY IT!!
Yeah, I had the same SmartScreen warning message as well (on Win8.1). This warning has not come up with other unity made games, so there does seem to be something different about your build. If I remember correctly, I had the same thing happen with Lieve Oma.
In the warning dialogue box, I was able to chose the "Run Anyway" option, which I thiiiink showed up after choosing "More info."
edit: spelling n stuff
This seems so strange but definitely beautiful.
I seem to get stuck in blackness after a few rides though :(
ah sorry about that, we noticed that bug yeah! We never found a fix, sorry!
Does it always happen? Or only on Windows? Or only on x64? Or only at random...?
it seems to be pretty random, but only to the station you were heading towards at the end of your LP! 🤔 that station works slightly differently from others as well so yeah… Work on the game has stopped though as it became a bit too big for our scrappy time-constrained team… So sorry about the bug! I hope it was a fun little experience though!
Played this for a while last night and absolutely loved it! I was totally immersed in it. Kinda reminded me of how I felt when I went to Japan, and at first, I had almost no clue what was going on. I really love and seek out those kind of experiences – getting lost in an enjoyable way – so this game really struck a chord with me.
Big fan of the art style and music. They compliment each other very nicely.
I still have quite a bit to explore and see, but just wanted to say how much I'm enjoying this - thanks for sharing this project! I hope your team sticks together, if possible!
Hey thanks for your kind words, it means a lot! I'm glad you have a good time with the game, that means it was worth releasing anyhow :)
Looks cool but I prefer to play with PUIE on my bépo keyboard ;).
heya sorry about that, rewindable keys was something we intended to work on but we don't intend on working on it anymore, as the game's size got a bit out of hand. We wanted to not have the game just die on a hard drive, that's why we put it up here :) Sorry about that, I hope you'll get a chance of playing it anyway!
Hello, I finished your game and it was interesting indeed. I found the setup fun to do and the tasks certainly strange, I feel I might have missed some things I hope I did not miss too much, I think you sold yourself short a little there is a lot of experience in this game and although it is cancelled I think it is great, I suggest you put this on the Gamejolt website I think it would get a lot of positive results, it will get my 5/5 for sure.
Gameplay link is here. YouTube: Fellowplayerhttps://youtu.be/QopjFzWA2Z8
hey cool LP! thanks for making it, glad you enjoyed it! Not sure about putting the game on GJ, I really like itch.io and it's community a lot and would like to keep the game in one place :)
I'll definitely be checking this out later tonight. it seems like an awesome concept even if it isn't 100% done. Will update later with my thoughts ;)
